"Hey i'm New at this. But i'm going to get better, and here is what i'm doing to get better. I will share my mistakes and wins along the way".
Nigeria is a country where its citizens do not understand what leadership means hence their penchant for always idolizing wrong leaders.
Its only here in Nigeria you see politicians portioning blames on other parties just to divert the attention of the masses away from their own floops.
Only in our country we perpetuate impunity and stupidly celebrate mediocrity.
Only in this part of the world called Nigeria my country, politics can stand in the way of decency and human sensibilities .
It's only in Nigeria that the citizens always wait for God when they can do the needed with God's supervision.
Since 1960, Nigeria has been tagged a developing country, buying everything in the world. An average Nigerian always dream of using the most sophisticated tech without thinking of how to produce ordinary toothpick to contribute to the technological world.
What Youths make-do of their time now is attending concerts to see mates of their younger relatives out of the urge to shout, jump and dance for a night without any benefits. . .
Some will still compare USA despite the glaring imbalance in economic strength.
There is lack of maintenance culture to government properties in this country and it's really affecting the citizens.
If you have killed people to get money or power, you will not want to see anybody begging you for money. Nigeria is ripe for bloodshed and revolution, and If you think that is far-fetched you are on the wrong side of history.
Nigerians are reactants. They react to unimportant things. In other words, Nigeria is a laboratory The citizens are chemicals. When an event happens they react and form a new compound. Sheer wonder politiefcians they mix us anyhow. They know our chemical properties. So they know the end product to every reaction.
Every year in Nigeria, someone must loose their fingers because of banger.
Nigeria is a country of the rich and elite class, lawless and if you are in this category, you live like a king. However the poor and middle class are doomed for life. You all are living in complete misery. You lack basic social amenities, poor healthcare facilities, roads, food, electricity, clean water, security and lives properties. Nigerians praise, fight for them and pray for them when death comes calling.
According to Femi Fani-Kayode, a one time aviation minister, Nigeria is a country where people wish those that kill, destroy, improvish and enslave them well. Elsewhere evil is exposed and resisted with passion.
Nigerians are so consumed with money itself and what it can buy that they fail to understand that they are actually making others rich by their own greed.
Nigerians do good mostly on: Xmas/festive period and Political campaign period.
It is in Nigeria that money acquired is different from money appropriated.
Money appropriated is different from money budgeted for. Money budgeted for is different from money approved. Money approved is different from money released. Money released is different from money spent. Money spent is different from money well spent. SMH.
Seriously, I'm in pain typing this. You must have money to throw around the youths if you want to become anything in Nigeria. Nobody cares if you are good. The money speaks for you. You must be a very good liar. You musr be loyal to one godfather before nursing any ambition.
Sobs.... Nigeria is a country filled with stress and been a Nigerian is hard enough yet it is the giant of Africa. Maybe it's because she is developing other African countries even European countries but failed to develop hers.
Do not be deceived. Giant of Africa is just a slogan. Those who have travelled out of Nigeria will tell you more. They know who the true giant is.
Isn't it funny that we are the ones that claim all the blessings in the bible and kill for religion but we never get developed?
Nigeria will become great within just few years but insincerity of purpose as a result of tribalism and ethnicity is the problem that has stagnated Nigeria.
I'm bothered about why Nigerian politicians don't allow their children to participate in voting exercise. Are they not Nigerians?
If you are a youth reading this, don't risk your life for politicians that kept their children somewhere far from Africa at your own peril. If you are mistakenly hit by a bullet (God forbid), politicians won't attend your burial. Your good friends will only type rest in peace on your Facebook wall, after six months, you become history.

It's high time people started using their sense. To the youths, Stop celebrating political freedom! To the politicians, Quit the born to rule mentality. Too bad so many have died because of taking politics to heart. It hurts to see in the news where a politician will say "I don't owe explanation on how money is spent in this country of Nigeria".

Talking and talking without doing anything worthwhile does not define the future of a country!!
The future of Nigeria is defined by actions of today. Our actions of today are shameful and disgraceful. This is not about the chicken and the egg. We have not taken actions today, that are significant, deliberate, self sacrificing, without bias and honest enough to ensure a good future.
This might sound like a joke but based on reality check "when God threw Lucipher down from heaven,he landed in Nigeria".
I dont even know why out of 170 countries of the world i'm a Nigerian...
My goal in writing this piece is to bridge the gap between what Science knows and what people do. You know science is the systematic method of discovering the world. This applies to every aspect of life. To show people that it’s not always about your gut instincts, it’s about what works and then adopting what works for your particular situation.
Media trials and propaganda.
For me,i'm tired of seeing pictures and reading about who stole what money and I guess you reading this are also tired too. If there is a case with whoever, they should be taken to court and the money likely will be recovered. Corruption can be fought without people knowing.
People are dying of hunger, losing their jobs and going insane and the government keeps posting pictures of random houses on the net and value them however they want.
I keep wondering who the government is in Nigeria. That's for another day and somebody lied that education is the key to success.

This oil bloc stuff got me thinking. It seems the oil bloc is just like a well of water where as many buckets is taken but minimal numbers of bucket is remitted to the government.

Let me make you comprehend: you dug a well in your compound knowing fully well you can take out as many bucket of water as you wish, and decided to be giving out just 10litres to the government.
From the above, those with oil blocs can single handedly buy Dubai but refused to develop Nigeria.
My voters card, my strength come 2019.
I will vote for a politician who tell me this is how I will achieve this ......
This is how I will give Nigerians quality education.
This is how I will give Nigerians light.
This is how I will make our airport work.
Stop telling people what is the problem with Nigerians and stop promising people you will fix them.
Tell me how that's what I want to hear.
From founding (which is obviously the problem) to how you will get the national assembly to
work with you to time frame.
work with you to time frame.
This part of Africa is where everyone except the elected president knows what
to be done.
to be done.
We need leaders who can combine fear of God with competence not necessarily youths. Content (competence) matters more than context (age) in this matter.
Let's say
No to Empty campaign promises.
No to one week, one LIE
No to Fighting corruption with sentiment.
No to Old man with ill health
No to Running the country via Proxy
No to tribalism
A STITCH IN TIME SAVES NINE
The electoral laws should be strengthened.
The judiciary should be encouraged to assert itself as stipulated in the constitution (but must not be allowed to turn itself into the electorates - like Salami did).
The political parties should organize themselves properly.
The academia, professionals, media and the civil societies should engage more.
Electoral system should have the ability and capacity to reward good performance and punish evil.
A six year single term is a recipe for disaster.
Note: Looking for power by all means to play revenge on any of your enemies is what is killing this country.

To the youths who are hell bent on burying their conscience and giving excuses for the government, kindly answer these questions:
1. Has the back-door CBN employments been reveresed by the government?
2. How about the FIRS back door employments?
3. Do you think those two listed above were the only incidents where many employment letters were issued through the backdoor?
4. Do you think the government is unaware of those illegal appointments?
5. Do you think something will be done to reverse anyone of them?
If your answer to questions 3, 4 and 5 above is YES then your case is irredeemable.
Feel free to voice out your opinion in the comment box.

You want to know who the Nigerian Government is? Let's get into it.
They are the real Nigerians. Along with religious leaders.
The ones that have everything. Proper education for their kids, proper healthcare, security. A great and awesome life.
A government will always exist. It is the citizens that die.. Aligning with the government assures you of the next best thing to mortality - a great lazy life, where you become God of your community and tribe by representing them at the altar of falsehood and mediocrity that is the Nigerian government.
